Loud cars exiled to silent wait in tow yard

A Buick sedan so loud it could be heard 125 feet away as it drove from the 6600 through 6400 blocks of Cermak was stopped and impounded by police.  Driver Alejandro Morin, 28, of Hillside, received the $500 ticket for violating Berwyn’s noise ordinance.
6:30 PM
A red Plymouth Breeze, even louder than the above, was stopped after excessive noise in the 3000 through 2600 blocks of Oak Park Avenue. Police impounded the car and gave a noise citation to driver Jose C. Guzman of Stickney.  Guzman was also charged with driving on a suspended license.
