Loud cars abound

A silver BMW was stopped for violating the noise ordinance in the 2900 block of Ridgeland. The car was impounded and the ticket given to a 37-year-old man from the 2800 block of Ridgeland. At East and Ogden, even though the driver told police he knew nothing of the ordinance, a bass-heavy orange Nissan Sentra was impounded. Jose L. Ramirez, 20, of Cicero, was ticketed. The Sentra was outfitted with two 12” subwoofers and an amp.
