Three out of four drivers stopped for noise had no license to drive in the first place

At 15th and Ridgeland, police stopped a Nissan Maxima for violating Berwyn’s noise ordinance. Driver Jose Angel Marmolejo of Cicero, was unable to show the requested driver’s license, presenting in its stead a Mexican ID. He was cited for noise and for driving unlicensed; the Nissan was impounded.
4:39 PM
Police impounded an excessively loud Buick LeSabre, stopped at Cermak and Ridgeland. Driver Emmanuel Portillo, 20, of the 5300 block of west Jackson, Chicago, received the $500 ticket.
6:53 PM
A too-loud Chevy Tahoe was stopped for noise at 21st and Kenilworth. Driver Jose Villegas, AKA Jose Escobedo, 19, of the 7000 block of 13th, had no license and was cited for both offenses; the SUV was impounded.
11:20 PM
Police could hear a loud white Cadillac Seville from a block away and stopped the car at 14th and Harvey. Driver Yojan Rodriguez, 24, of Hoffman Estates, received tickets for noise, failure to signal a turn, no light on the rear plate, and driving without a license. The Caddy was impounded.
