Loiterers busted at Highland and Vacin

Following many complaints about gang members loitering and drinking in the vicinity of Highland and Vacin, police patrolled the area and stopped three men seen loitering. One man—a 26-year-old from the 1200 block of Elmwood—was wanted by Cook County, so he was arrested. The other two—a 19-year-old man from the 2200 block of Harvey, and an 18-year-old from the 2300 block of Harvey—were reminded not to hang out in that location or they would be charged with loitering.
