Lincoln limo towed, Chicagoan’s car wears wrong plates

September 19, 2007, 9:06 AM
Police stopped a white Lincoln Town Car limousine, eastbound on Roosevelt in the 7000 block, because it lacked the requisite safety-inspection sticker.  Driver Troy Taylor, 43, of Bellwood, was driving despite the suspension of his license.  He was cited for no sticker, no insurance and the suspended license, and the limo was towed.

Expired license plates caused police to stop a black Chevy Silverado in the 1900 block of East.  The plates were not only expired; they did not match the vehicle.  Driver Jose Garcia, 38, of the 3000 block of south Harding, Chicago, was cited for expired registration, improper use of registration, no safety-inspection sticker, and failure to transfer title.
