Kid on lap at home, ok. In front seat—makes a messy airbag

In the 1900 block of Clarence, police stopped a green Ford Econoline van after seeing a little child in the lap of a front seat passenger. When the van was pulled over, police noticed there were actually two children on the front seat and a teenage girl lying down on the floor of the cargo area. Driver Francisco J. Sanchez, 37, of Cicero, had a suspended license, so the van was impounded. He was charged with driving on a suspended license, no insurance and no seat belt on a passenger.
