Junk-loaded truck sports wrong plates

August 13, 2007, 7:22 AM
An officer saw a Ford pickup truck, loaded with junk, near 19th and East.  The truck’s license plates were not truck, but passenger-car, plates.  Driver Jose L. Hernandez, 41, of the 2800 block of north Elston, Chicago, showed the officer a driver’s license that expired over a year ago.  The truck was towed.  Hernandez received tickets for driving with an expired license, no insurance, expired registration, improper use of registration and no truck registration.
