An officer noticed a lavender Chevy Cavalier backing eastbound on 13th at Lombard—which is one-way westbound—despite the presence of signs saying “WRONG WAY” and “DO NOT ENTER”. Driver Carlos Martinez, 41, of Cicero, was cited for improper lane use, no insurance, and driving without a license.
9:25 AM
A Dodge Caravan disregarded the stop sign at 21st and Highland as an officer watched. Driver Francisco A. Albino, 25, of the 4200 block of south Campbell, Chicago, got tickets for that offense as well as for driving unlicensed and uninsured.
