Hydrant blocking, crash

Police ticketed and towed a blue Buick with temporary plates because it was blocking a fire hydrant in the 1900 block of Euclid. The car was registered to a man in the 3200 block of north Avers, Chicago.

A crash at Highland and Cermak led to the arrest of one driver: Jose I. Rogel, 21, of the 2700 block of west 23rd, Chicago. He was charged with failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, and driving without a license.
