Garage burglaries

August 6, 2007
11:26 AM: Someone forced open the service door of a garage in the 1200 block of Elmwood and stole four ratchets and an air gun.
3:42 PM:  A garage in the 1500 block of Clinton was found with its side door kicked in.  A leaf blower was stolen.  The owner said it was the second such incident in two weeks.
4:35 PM: A man in the 3700 block of Clinton left his garage to enter his house briefly.  When he returned, his mitre saw and air compressor were gone.  He ran to the alley and saw a couple leaving in a tan car.  He described them as a male and female Hispanic, 19-20 years old.  The air compressor was valued at $175, the mitre saw at $279.
