Gang signs flashed from suspicious vehicle

November 17, 2007, 11:25 AM
A 20-year-old Cicero man told police he saw two male Hispanics, ages 18-20, in a red Chevy minivan, who flashed gang signs at him as he drove near 18th and Harvey.  The victim said he was trying to flee but the minivan rammed his Buick sedan, pushed it 90 degrees and pinned it against the curb.  He said the minivan backed into into the Buick 2 or 3 times, then one of the men got out and threw a large rock at the sedan.  The Buick, police saw, was severely damaged.  Police issued a flash message describing the offending vehicle to other departments.
