Berwyn Police Blotter

Gang-loitering goofs advised: go away or else.  Some take the hint.

April 29, 2008, 3:25 PM
Gang task force officers checking on a known gang/drug location in the 1600 block of Wesley—half a block from the park district building and children’s playground—noticed several people fleeing into the house in question, while others left in a vehicle.  Police stopped the car and advised its inmates not to hang out at that house, or risk arrest.  Returning to the house, police saw one person still loitering in front, even though he had been previously told not to.  Rodolfo Rodriguez, 19, of the 1800 block of Euclid—nicknamed, according to police, “Goofy”—was arrested and charged with loitering.
