Berwyn Police Blotter

Forward and backward, not up and down!

June 16, 2007, 5:21 PM
A red Dodge Dakota was blocking a good bit of the roadway on 26th at Ridgeland, forcing other cars to go around it.  Police noticed the Dodge had prohibited red and white flashing tail lights and an illegal suspension system.  When officers arrived, the suspension system was being used to lift the fornt end of the vehicle high in the air and drop the rear end nearly to the pavement.  Driver Jose L. Uriostegui, 33, of the 2800 block of south Trumbull, Chicago, was cited for improper parking in the roadway, illegal use of flashing tail lights, illegal suspension system, tinted windows, no insurance and driving with license suspended.
