Fight-pickers show guns, one victim won’t talk about it
October 4, 2008, 3:44 AM
Police were sent to a restaurant at 6831 Ogden on reports of a fight and men displaying guns. When officers arrived, a man inside the entrance silently pointed northward to indicate the directions in which the offenders fled. Inside the restaurant, the first victim told police two men “pulled a gun” on him. He said they tried to pick a fight, getting up from their table and approaching him and a companion at his. Both men reportedly displayed handguns, then ran out and headed north. The victim grew uncooperative and refused to give additional information, pronouncing it “a waste of time”. But his companion, a 25-year-old Cicero man, was able to describe the offenders. He said they were two male Hispanics, both about 5’10” and 180 lbs, wearing jeans and toting gun; one man wore a white hoodie, the other a black one.
