Berwyn Police Blotter

Expensive snake stolen

August 17, 2008
Maywood detectives informed Berwyn police they were looking for a man suspected of entering a Maywood pet shop and stealing a snake worth over $700. A physical altercation occurred when the man tried to leave the shop; he and the woman fled in a green Chevy sedan whose plates registered to a home in the 2400 block of Gunderson.  A witness can identify the offender.

Berwyn police learned that the 22-year-old suspect—a male white, 6’5” and 260 lbs—does not live at the Gunderson address but visits family there, and is often seen driving a blue Dodge Neon.
