Berwyn Police Blotter
Excluded from Inclusive
September 23, 2007, 12:31 AM
A bouncer from Inclusive nightclub, 6319 Roosevelt, called police to report two unwanted persons were standing by the front door after being asked to leave the premises. Police arrived and learned the reasons for their exclusion: one showed up wearing gym shoes, which are not allowed inside; the other came to the door already holding an alcoholic beverage in his hand. When the bouncer told the two they weren’t getting in, they became confrontational, so she called police.
Police spoke with the men, a 30-year-old from the 1100 block of south Cuyler, Oak Park, and a 26-year-old from the 3900 block of west Gladys, Chicago. Both appeared to feel the bouncer was being unreasonable. Even so, the officer told them, they were still not wanted and would have to go away.
