Berwyn Police Blotter

Ex-pair accuse each another of ongoing torment

April 29, 2008, 4:52 PM
A concerned citizen alerted police to a domestic disturbance in front of the police station.  Police found a 56-year-old Lemont man and a 43-year-old woman there, arguing.  The man told the officer the woman was his ex-mistress, who now telephones constantly and follows him both to his workplace and his home.  The woman, however, told police he’s the one making the calls, in order to “manipulate her mentally” and cause her heartache.  Police advised the two to avoid one another completely.
