Entertainment company employees involved in restaurant kitchen fight

April 25, 2008, 11:52 PM
Police responding to a fight in the 6700 block of Ogden were met by a restaurant bouncer and a representative of an entertainment business—a 37-year-old Chicago man—who said his boss told him to relay a message to a fellow employee, who was in the back kitchen with the evening’s entertainers.  The message was that the show needed to start in ten minutes.  The other employee—Felipe Yanez, 32, of the 5600 block of south Campbell, Chicago—reportedly argued with his coworker upon receiving this message, saying he “does not take orders” from him.  Yanez allegedly punched and kicked the victim in the face multipple times until the bouncer detained him.  The victim had visible injuries to his head and face.  Police charged Yanez with battery.
