Dollar store theft

The manager of a dollar store in the 6800 block of Ogden reported confronting a thief who then headed out of the store eastbound on Ogden. She told police she saw him going around the store putting items into a plastic bag he carried. When the manager confronted the suspect, a plastic bottle of shower gel fell out of the man’s plastic bag, and he walked out of the store. She described the man as black, wearing a white T-shirt, blue jeans and a backwards orange baseball cap, and told police she would recognize him if she saw him again.
