Berwyn Police Blotter

Dog guards own yard from strangers

March 25, 2008, 4:33 PM
A 30-year-old woman from the 1300 block of Kenilworth told police her black Labrador retriever was bitten by another dog.  The woman said she was walking the Lab by a property in the 1300 block of Clinton, when she stopped and allowed the Lab to approach a fence and sniff a shepherd-mix dog, which was secured inside a fenced yard on its own property.  When the Lab got close, the shepherd bit it on the nose.  The Lab owner told police she was unable to make contact with the shepherd’s owner.
