Berwyn Police Blotter

Didn’t get home before the po-po scoped ‘em

October 31, 2007, 9:46 PM
Tactical officers noticed a Mercury Grand Marquis parked—illegally—in the alley of the 2500 block of Ridgeland/Cuyler.  Three men were in the car, with one more standing outside it, so the cops called for backup.  All of the men were ordered out of the car because two were known gang members—one was even wearing “gang colors”.  All the windows of the Merc were down and a strong odor of pot smoke drifted out.  Inside the car, police located 3.3 grams of marijuana.  All four men were arrested and given $175 pot possession tickets.  They were:  driver Manuel Garcia, 19, of the 1600 block of East; 26-year-old Juan P. Garcia, same address; Antonio Guerrero, 19, of th 1900 block of Wenonah; and Pedro Garibay, 20, of the 2500 block of Ridgeland.
