Damage to car, face, in domestic incident
July 3, 2008, 3:54 PM
A man bleeding from a split lip walked into the police station to report being battered by his ex-boyfriend. The victim said he was at the gas station at 26th and Ridgeland when the ex pulled up in a Chevy Corsica and began an argument. The offender reportedly punched the victim in the face, damaged the headlight of the victim’s car with a rock, then fled. Police arrested the offender, a 32-year-old Chicago man, and charged him with domestic battery, criminal damage to property and violating an order of protection.
