A 24-year-old Berwyn man told police he went to North Riverside at 1 AM to visit a girl from work.  When he arrived, however, the girl was not there—just a man who yelled at him and approached him aggressively—so he drove back to Berwyn.  When he reached the 1900 block of Wesley, he said, he realized the man had followed him.  The victim ran into the house. The victim’s Chevy Impala was parked in front; the victim saw the man break the Impala’s windshield using a crowbar.

Later, North Riverside* police called to say they had arrested suspect Miguel Carrasco, 23, of the 2600 block of south Kildare, Chicago, in connection with the first portion of the incident.  Berwyn police picked Carrasco up from North Riverside and charged with with aggravated assault and criminal damage to property.
