TWO CHARGED IN BERWYN ARMED ROBBERIES, THIRD SUSPECT FLEES

Following three late-evening armed robberies occurred, all in north Berwyn, police charged two Chicago men with seven counts of armed robbery. They are Mark Goree, 21, of 5342 Van Buren, Chicago, and Martise Bloodson, 17, of 5334 Van Buren, Chicago. Chicago and five nearby suburbs are still conducting lineups in an effort to solve other armed robberies.
A third man—who fled twice from Berwyn and Chicago Police—is still at large. Marcus A. Washington, 31, of 5334 W. Van Buren, Chicago, is wanted by the Berwyn Police Department for unlawful possession of a weapon and unlawful possession of a weapon by a felon. Washington is suspected to be involved in or responsible for numerous armed robberies that have occurred in Berwyn, River Forest, Forest Park, Oak Park, Cicero and Chicago.
Washington—nicknamed “Sisco” or “Sco”—should be considered armed and dangerous and has an extensive violent criminal history. Police described him as 6’3” and 190 lbs with brown eyes and black hair worn in cornrows. Berwyn police recovered a hand gun and a sawed-off shot gun from vehicles Washington was driving. Washington ran from Berwyn police in Chicago’s 11th District; he was last seen near Marshall High School, Kedzie & Monroe, Chicago. Washington has a suspended driver’s license and possibly still drives a green Dodge Caravan with expired plates (IL. 663 2398).
