An officer at the scene of a crash at Ridgeland and Cermak saw the driver and passenger of the damaged Jeep get out of their vehicle and approach the driver of a green Honda Civic.  As the officer watched, the Civic accelerated toward both people, nearly hitting them, then fled southbound on Ridgeland.  The officer pursued and stopped the fleeing car.  Driver Camilo Marino-Benavides, 24, of the 2200 block of north Kilbourn, Chicago, was arrested for leaving the scene of an accident, driving without a license and driving uninsured.
