Bust of the beer-guzzling minors

An officer on patrol saw several males and a female huddled around a dark 4-door Saab in the 6800 block of Vacin Fairway. Near them on the ground were two open 40-oz. beer bottles. Inside the Saab was another open beer bottle. The car’s plates had expired. All six subjects – all of Berwyn – were ticketed for possession of alcohol by a minor, and possession of alcohol in the public way. The Saab, which belonged to one 18-year-old male’s mom, was towed.
