Auto burglaries

A Chicago woman, who parked her Chevy Cavalier in the 6300 block of Vacin, told police someone got into the car by unknown means and stole her GPS unit, a Sony AM/FM/CD player, and a cell phone.

Someone broke a window to get into a Mitsubishi Galant while the car was parked in the Morton West High school lot. The car’s stereo was stolen.
