Alley-occupying Pontiac’s driver had suspended license

May 4, 2008, 3:07 AM
An officer saw a white Pontiac Grand Am stopped in the 2900 block of Maple/Harlem alley with the engine running.Driver Juan C. Diaz, 24, of the 4700 block of north Sacramento, Chicago, told the officer he had neither license nor insurance.  Asked why not, Diaz reportedly responded that he had never had a license and has no “green card” with which to obtain one.  However, a check of his name showed he had possessed a license long enough to have it suspended.  He was cited for driving on a suspended license, no insurance and prohibited alley traffic.  The Pontiac was impounded.
