Accident involves Taurus wagon, Astrovan

A two-vehicle accident in the 2100 block of Oak Park resulted in tickets for both drivers. Driver Eleanor L. Davis, 54, of Cicero was cited for “Starting parked vehicle.” [ie, Illinois Vehicle Code - 625 ILCS 5, Section 11-803, “No person shall start a vehicle which is stopped, standing, or parked unless and until such movement can be made with reasonable safety."] Driver Federico Gallegos, 37, of the 1000 block of south Mason, Chicago, was charged with driving on a suspended license, and his vehicle was impounded.
