Chicago man has three women fighting over him

November 10, 2007 2:57 AM
Police were dispatched to a fight in the 2100 block of Wesley, and en route were flagged down by a 29-year-old Cicero woman.  The woman said two other women battered her and could be found sitting in a van parked in front of Ixtapa restaurant, 6714 Cermak.  Police located the van, which was parked next to a red Chevy Blazer; they met with the van’s occupants, a 17-year-old female from the 2600 block of Home, and a 24-year-old Cicero woman.  The women from the van said they emerged from Ixtapa with a man.  When the 29-year-old woman saw her boyfriend walking with these two, they said, she grabbed the teen and hit the older woman in the face.  The man—a 34-year-old from the 2600 block of Ridgeway, Chicago—did not wish to give police any information.  The stories told by the participants willing to talk were in conflict.  During this episode, the red Chevy Blazer drove away, so police stopped it at Vacin and Elmwood to see whether it was involved.  It was not; however, driver Placido Herrera, 21, of CIcero, had no license or insurance, and the Blazer was towed.
